Modular Flight Training

Scandinavian Aviation Academy offers a modular flight training program with commercial helicopter operational oriented procedures. The CPL(H)/SE/VFR training takes your precision to a higher level on your way to your commercial career. The training is conducted in Västerås, Sweden in cooperation with iTell Helicopters. SAA has a long experience in training commercial pilots and will get you prepared to meet the demands of your future employer.

Overview
modul utbildning 11 hrs Normal/Emergency training

modul utbildning 10 hrs Basic instrument training

modul utbildning 6,5 hrs Cross country training

modul utbildning 5 hrs Night training

modul utbildning 2,5 hrs Review training before CAA skill test 

 The training includes in total 35 hrs of flight time and will be completed with a CAA skill test in 1,5 hrs.

If you lack type rating on Robinson R44 an additional 10,5 hrs of theoretical technical and operative course on Robinson R44 is required.


Prerequisites

modul utbildning Minimum 18 years of age
modul utbildning Valid JAA/EASA Class 1 Medical
modul utbildning JAA CPL(H) or ATPL (H) theory
modul utbildning Valid ICAO PPL (H)
modul utbildning 
150* hrs of total flight time in helicopter

modul utbildning 50 hrs of flight time as PIC
 

* = 20 hrs as PIC holding a PPL(A) or 50 hrs as PIC holding a CPL(A) may have been completed in aeroplanes; or 10 hrs as PIC on touring motor gliders or gliders.
