ATPL Theory
From JAR-OPS to Jet Engines
The Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) Theory Program provides you with the theoretical knowledge required to operate in European air transportation.
The ATPL-theory is the highest level of theory available in the aviation industry. With 15 books of in-depth aviation information to be studied, together with Computer Based Training (CBT), the course often proves to be quite demanding. Students must show dedication, discipline and motivation during the course to keep up to the set standards.
The SAA ATPL-theory program is a distance course consisting of approximately 40 hours of home studies per week, with a completion time of 35 weeks.

- Valid ICAO PPL(A)
- Swedish Student permit issued by the Swedish CAA (EU students)
- Valid JAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
